Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez believes The Reds have shown Kenny Dalglish enough so far this season to convince him they are capable of winning silverware. The Uruguayan has enjoyed an excellent start to his Reds career after joining in January from Ajax but he is hopeful he will continue to improve and help his team move up the league table.
“The team is in good form and feeling very confident and it’s also good the manager can see we have the ambition to pick up trophies,” said Suarez, who won the September fans’ player of the month award for a fourth time in the last six occasions.
“I am happy at how the team is playing as a whole but from a personal point of view I’d love to be able to provide that bit extra for the team.”
The Uruguayan thinks the Reds new signings have helped them improve this season and he hopes he and his team-mates will get a result on Saturday as Liverpool vs Norwich City to take them further up the table. It’s a pity that I will miss the English Premier League match this Saturday. My only choice is the La Liga match Real Sociedad vs Getafe which will be played three hours later.
